This Return & Refund Policy explains when and how you can return a Luka Kids product, how refunds and exchanges work, and which items are not eligible for return.

For the purposes of this Return Policy, "Luka Kids", "we", "us", and "our" refer to LINGVERSE TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. and its affiliates, where applicable.

Overview

We want you and your family to love your Luka. If something isn't right, we offer a 30-day return window on eligible products purchased directly from luka.world.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, and Warranty Policy.

Products purchased from authorized retailers, marketplaces, or third parties must be returned through the original place of purchase under that seller's return terms.

Return Window

You may request a return within 30 calendar days of the delivery date shown by the carrier. Returns requested after the 30-day window are not eligible, except where required by applicable consumer law.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • Purchased directly from luka.world.

  • Returned within the 30-day return window.

  • In their original condition, free of damage caused by misuse, drops, or unauthorized modifications.

  • Returned with all original accessories, cables, inserts, and packaging.

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase, such as your order number or order confirmation email.

We may decline a return, or apply a partial refund, if the returned product shows significant wear, missing accessories, or damage not related to a manufacturing defect.

Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Digital products, subscriptions, and downloadable content once activated or used.

  • Gift cards and promotional credits.

  • Items marked as final sale or clearance at the time of purchase.

  • Hygiene-sensitive accessories that have been opened or used.

  • Free items, gifts with purchase, or bundled add-ons returned without the main product.

How to Start a Return

To start a return:

  • Email us at support@luka.world with your order number, the item(s) you want to return, and the reason for return.

  • Wait for our return confirmation email, which will include the return address and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) reference.

  • Pack the product securely in its original packaging with all accessories.

  • Ship the return using a tracked service, and reply to the confirmation email with the tracking number.

Please do not send items back without first contacting us. Returns received without an RMA reference may be delayed or refused.

Return Shipping

Buyer-funded returns.Change of mind

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping fees and any duties or taxes are non-refundable.

Free returns.Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

If the product arrived damaged, defective, or we sent the wrong item, we will cover return shipping costs or provide a prepaid return label.

We recommend using a tracked, insured shipping method. We are not responsible for returns that are lost or damaged in transit before they reach our warehouse.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to confirm whether the refund has been approved. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Please allow up to 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement after it has been processed, depending on your bank or card issuer.

We may deduct from the refund the value of any free promotional item, gift with purchase, or shipping promotion you received but did not return along with the eligible items.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct one-for-one exchanges. If you want a different item or variant, please return the original item under this policy and place a new order for the item you want.

Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or with the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos or a short video.

We will arrange a replacement, refund, or repair as appropriate. For hardware faults that appear after the return window, please refer to our Warranty Policy.

Subscriptions and Digital Items

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable for the current billing period. You can cancel an active subscription at any time through the Luka app or your account settings, and your subscription will end at the close of the current billing cycle.

Digital content, downloadable items, and in-app purchases are non-refundable once accessed or used, except where required by applicable law.

Order Cancellations

You may request to cancel an order before it has been shipped by contacting us at support@luka.world. Once an order has been handed to the carrier, it can no longer be cancelled; you may instead return the order under this policy after it arrives.
