Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains how we process and deliver Luka Kids orders from our United States fulfillment center — including delivery timelines, carriers, tracking, customs, and address rules.

For the purposes of this Shipping Policy, "Luka Kids", "we", "us", and "our" refer to LINGVERSE TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. and its affiliates, where applicable.

Overview

We ship Luka Kids products from our United States fulfillment center to the shipping address you provide at checkout. Shipping options, fees, and estimated delivery windows are shown during checkout based on your destination.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Return Policy.

Where We Ship

We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states, Washington D.C., and select international destinations. The countries and regions available at the time of your order are shown in the country selector at checkout.

We do not ship to U.S. territories outside the 50 states (such as Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands) at this time, and we do not ship to freight forwarders or restricted jurisdictions. If a destination is unavailable at checkout, we are unable to ship to that address.

We are able to ship to U.S. P.O. boxes and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses via USPS where the carrier supports the destination.

Order Processing Time

Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed. Orders placed on weekends, public holidays, or during sale periods may take longer to process.

You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed, and a separate shipping notification with tracking details once it leaves our warehouse.

Delivery Timelines

Delivery times are estimates only and begin once the package has been handed to the carrier. Typical delivery windows after dispatch from our U.S. warehouse:

  • U.S. contiguous 48 states (standard): 3–7 business days

  • U.S. contiguous 48 states (expedited): 2–3 business days

  • Alaska, Hawaii, and APO/FPO/DPO: 5–10 business days

  • Canada: 5–10 business days

  • Other international destinations: 7–14 business days

Actual delivery may be faster or slower depending on the carrier, destination, customs clearance, and other factors outside our control.

Shipping Rates

We offer free standard shipping on all orders shipped within the contiguous United States. Expedited shipping, shipments to Alaska and Hawaii, APO/FPO/DPO, and international destinations are calculated at checkout based on destination, order weight, and the shipping method you choose.

The total shipping cost will be shown before you confirm payment. From time to time, we may also run additional shipping promotions; the conditions and any minimum order value will be stated on the relevant product page or at checkout.

Carriers and Tracking

We work with reputable carriers and logistics partners, which may include USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL, as well as local last-mile providers for international destinations.

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email. Tracking information may take up to 48 hours to become active in the carrier's system after dispatch.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

U.S. domestic orders are not subject to import duties. Applicable state and local sales tax, where required, will be calculated and shown at checkout.

International orders shipped outside the United States may be subject to import duties, taxes, VAT/GST, or other customs fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are determined by the local customs authority and are the responsibility of the recipient, unless stated otherwise at checkout.

If you refuse to pay applicable duties or taxes, the package may be returned to us or destroyed by customs. In such cases, we cannot guarantee a refund of the original shipping fee or any duties already incurred.

Address Accuracy and Changes

Please double-check your shipping address, recipient name, and contact number before completing your order. We are not responsible for delays, non-delivery, or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete address information provided at checkout.

If you need to change a shipping address after placing an order, contact us at support@luka.world as soon as possible. We will try to update the address before the order ships, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has been handed to the carrier.

Delays and Disruptions

Delivery may be affected by events outside our control, including:

  • Carrier delays, capacity issues, or service disruptions.

  • Customs inspections or import processing delays.

  • Severe weather, natural disasters, or public emergencies.

  • Public holidays in the origin or destination country.

  • Address issues, missed delivery attempts, or recipient unavailability.

We will work with the carrier to help resolve significant delays where possible, but we cannot guarantee delivery dates affected by these events.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your package arrives visibly damaged or your product is damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the packaging and product.

If tracking shows no movement for an extended period, or the carrier confirms the parcel is lost, contact us at support@luka.world and we will open an investigation with the carrier.

Once a shipment is confirmed lost or damaged, we will arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Return Policy.

Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title for products purchased from us pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address you provided at checkout, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
