This Limited Warranty describes the manufacturer warranty we provide for Luka Kids hardware products, including what is covered, what is not, how to file a claim, and the remedies available.

For the purposes of this Warranty Policy, "Luka Kids", "we", "us", and "our" refer to LINGVERSE TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. and its affiliates, where applicable.

Overview
We stand behind the quality of our products. This Limited Warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, the statutory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country or region of residence.
This Warranty Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, and Return Policy.

Warranty Period and Coverage
We warrant that Luka Kids hardware products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use for a period of 12 months from the original date of purchase (the "Warranty Period").
The Warranty Period begins on the delivery date shown by the carrier for orders placed on luka.world, or on the receipt date for purchases from an authorized retailer.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase is required for any claim.

What Is Covered
During the Warranty Period, we will repair or replace, at our discretion, any covered hardware product that fails due to:
Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
Component failures under normal household use.
Hardware faults present at the time of delivery (DOA).
Battery defects that result in failure to charge or hold a normal charge.

What Is Not Covered
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or fading that does not affect functionality.
Damage caused by accidents, drops, spills, fire, or exposure to extreme temperatures or moisture.
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or use inconsistent with the product instructions.
Damage from unauthorized repair, disassembly, or modification.
Normal wear and tear, including reduced battery capacity over time.
Consumables and accessories sold separately, unless covered by a separate written warranty.
Products purchased from unauthorized sellers or marketplaces, second-hand units, counterfeits, or units with altered or removed serial numbers.
Lost or stolen products.
Damage caused by software, apps, content, or third-party services not provided by Luka.

How to File a Warranty Claim
To file a warranty claim:
Email us at support@luka.world with the subject line "Warranty Claim".
Include your order number or proof of purchase, the product serial number, a description of the issue, and clear photos or a short video that shows the problem.
Our support team will assess the claim and may ask for additional troubleshooting steps before approving a return for service.
If the claim is approved, we will send return instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid return label.
Please do not send products in for service without first receiving a claim approval. Items received without prior authorization may be delayed or returned at your cost.

Our Remedies
For a valid claim within the Warranty Period, we will, at our option:
Repair the product using new or refurbished parts equivalent to new in performance and reliability.
Replace the product with a new or refurbished unit that is at least functionally equivalent to the original.
Refund the original purchase price, where repair or replacement is not commercially reasonable.
These remedies are your sole and exclusive remedies under this Limited Warranty.

Shipping Costs for Claims
For approved warranty claims, we will cover return shipping to our service center and the shipping of the repaired or replacement unit back to you.
If a product is sent in and inspection finds no defect, or the issue is excluded under this warranty, we may return the product to you at your expense or, with your consent, offer a paid repair quote.

Replacement Units
Replacement units may be new or refurbished products that are functionally equivalent to the original. The replacement unit continues the remaining Warranty Period of the original product, or 90 days from the date of replacement, whichever is longer.

Software, Apps, and Subscriptions
This Limited Warranty applies to Luka Kids hardware. Software, mobile apps, firmware, cloud features, and subscription services are provided under our Terms of Service and are not covered by this hardware warranty.
Software issues, missing content, account problems, or feature availability questions should be reported to our support team, but are not warranty claims.

Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Limited Warranty limits or excludes any rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your country or region, including any non-waivable rights to a remedy for defective goods.
Where local law provides a longer mandatory warranty period or additional remedies, those rights apply in addition to this Limited Warranty.

Limitations and Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, this Limited Warranty is the only warranty we provide for our hardware. All other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the Warranty Period.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of use, or loss of profits, arising from the use or inability to use the product, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
