In these Terms, "Luka Kids", "we", "us", and "our" refer to LINGVERSE TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. and its affiliates, where applicable.
Luka Kids provides screen-free reading products and related digital services for families, including the Luka Kids Reading Robot, companion parent app features, subscription services, family messages, voice features, and related support services.

Adult Use and Parental Responsibility
Our website, checkout, account setup, app controls, and subscription management are intended for parents, legal guardians, or adults.
Children may use Luka products only under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians are responsible for setting up the device, managing app settings, reviewing privacy choices, and supervising how children use Luka.

Products and Services
Luka is designed to work with physical picture books and provide screen-free storytime experiences. Product features may include read-aloud functionality, page recognition, story-based interaction, language support, parent voice messages, uploaded audio, and reading-related settings.
Some features may require an active subscription, internet connection, app setup, software updates, or supported content availability.
We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue certain features over time.

Product Information
We work to describe our products accurately. However, product images, packaging, colors, availability, features, specifications, and pricing may change.
Statements such as supported book compatibility, language support, voice quality, recognition speed, or reading experience may vary depending on book condition, lighting, language, network environment, software version, and other real-world factors.

Orders, Pricing, and Payment
When you place an order, you agree to provide accurate billing, shipping, and contact information.
Prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout. Taxes, duties, shipping fees, and other charges may apply. We may correct pricing or product errors before accepting or fulfilling an order.
Payment is processed through our payment providers. We do not store full payment card details on our own servers.

Shipping and Delivery
Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary due to inventory, logistics, customs, carrier delays, address issues, weather, or other factors outside our control.
Risk of loss may transfer to you once the product is delivered to the shipping address provided at checkout, unless otherwise required by law.

Returns and Refunds
We may offer a return window for eligible products, such as a 30-day return policy, if stated on our website at the time of purchase.
To qualify for a return, products may need to be returned in acceptable condition with original accessories and packaging. Certain items, digital services, subscriptions, or opened/used accessories may be non-refundable unless required by law.

Subscriptions
Some Luka features may require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, billing cycle, renewal rules, included features, and cancellation options will be shown before purchase or activation.
Unless canceled, subscriptions may renew automatically. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the account settings, app, or other method we provide.
Canceling a subscription may stop future billing but does not always result in a refund for the current billing period, unless required by law or stated otherwise.

App and Account Features
Parents may use the Luka app or related account features to manage device settings, language options, family messages, uploaded audio, reading activity, or subscription settings.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
You agree not to share account access with unauthorized users or use the Services in a way that harms Luka, other users, or the security of our systems.

User Content and Uploaded Audio
Some features may allow parents or authorized users to upload, record, send, or manage audio, text, messages, feedback, or other content ("User Content").
You represent that you have the right to provide any User Content you upload or submit. You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, or inappropriate for children.
You grant us a limited right to process User Content only as needed to provide, operate, improve, secure, and support the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy and Kids Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy
We take children's privacy seriously. Luka is designed so children do not need to use a phone, tablet, or screen to enjoy storytime.
Our practices related to children's data are described in our Kids Privacy Policy (COPPA). Parents may have rights to review, delete, or control certain child-related information as described there.

Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Reverse engineer, copy, or tamper with our software, hardware, app, website, or systems.
Use Luka products or Services for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or unsafe purposes.
Interfere with the security, operation, or availability of the Services.
Upload or transmit malware, harmful content, or unauthorized data.
Use the Services to violate another person's rights.

Intellectual Property
All Luka trademarks, logos, product designs, software, website content, text, graphics, images, videos, app interfaces, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors.
These Terms do not grant you ownership of any Luka intellectual property. You may use the Services only as permitted by these Terms.

Our website and Services may rely on third-party providers for payments, hosting, analytics, shipping, email, customer support, app infrastructure, voice processing, or other operations.
Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies.

Warranty Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our website, app, products, and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, except for any written warranty we expressly provide.
We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every book, or available in every location at all times.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luka Kids and its affiliates, officers, employees, partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website, products, app, or Services.
Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or Service giving rise to the claim, unless otherwise required by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
Your continued use of the website or Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
